Nea Erythrea

Garden of a private house in Nea Erithraia. The construction of the garden, with an area of 300 m2, began in early May 2006 and was completed almost 12 days later.

It is a private garden, with very intense changes in shading and sunshine, due to the tall buildings with which it bordered. A ready-made lawn mix of varieties was placed, in order to cover these peculiarities of the space, with excellent characteristics of density, texture and green color all year round.

At the front of the plot (with the most sunshine) was placed a fence of Gold Crest (Cupressus macrocarpa), a cluster of small shrubs, aromatic and polar. The back was formed by a fence of Laurel nobilis (Laurus nobilis), an impressive Magnolia grandiflora and various other small shrubs. Three apple trees (Malus domestica) were also planted under which white pebbles were placed.

A fully automated irrigation system was installed throughout the garden using solenoid valves and a central stop control programmer. Pop up for lawn irrigation and a self-adjusting drip pipe for watering trees and shrubs were used.
