Voula

Garden of a private house in Voula. The construction of the garden, with an area of 400 m2, began in June 2009 and was completed in about 12 days.

It is a simple garden, a luxury apartment building, which emphasized the simplicity and the creation of space, without obstacles, for social events and sports. Due to the very poor granulometric composition of the existing soil (clayey in a very large percentage), we proceeded with the removal of 50cm. soil and the addition of new, with excellent granulometric composition.

A ready-made lawn of variety was installed to maintain the intense green color throughout the year and to ensure its survival due to its intense strain from various social activities.

Apollo Laurels (Laurus nobilis) were planted around the green area, while some "blind" parts of the garden were covered with geotextile and river pebbles. To meet the need for parking, a concrete cobblestone was installed in which the gaps were placed ready-made turf.

A fully automated irrigation system was installed throughout the garden using solenoid valves and a central stop control programmer. Pop up for lawn irrigation and a self-adjusting drip pipe for watering trees and shrubs were used.
