Koropi

Private school in Koropi. The architectural configuration of the external space of the college, with an area of 70000 m2, mainly included large hearths (flower beds) with shrubs and trees.

This is a very large green area, with a large amount of sunshine throughout the day. No lawn was placed in the green area, only shrubs and trees in order to give the feeling of the natural environment and to harmonize the area with the hills that embrace the school.

Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) and Leyland (Cupressocyparis leylandii) were planted around the plot in order to protect the area inside from the very strong winds of the area.

In the main area were created large areas (flower beds) with small and large shrubs, trees, aromatic plants and herbs. The variety of shrubs and trees that were planted was very large in order to ensure that all year round there will be alternation and color in the flower beds. Wooden pergolas were also made in focal points of the garden and wooden benches were placed.

A fully automated irrigation system was installed throughout the garden using solenoid valves and a central stop control programmer. A self-adjusting drip pipe for watering trees and shrubs was installed.
